Tutorial APC UPS – Reset to DHCP Mode
Locate the APC network management card on the back of your APC UPS.
Connect the APC UPS to a network that has a DHCP server.
Press the reset button for 20 seconds.
Wait for the network led change to the orange color.
The APC UPS network configuration will be set to use DHCP.
The APC UPS network management card will reset its configuration back to the factory default.
Congratulations! You successfully configured the DHCP mode on the APC UPS.
Tutorial APC UPS – Accessing the APC UPS
To discover the APC UPS IP address, access the APC oficial website.
Download the software named: Network Management Device IP Configuration Wizard.
Install the software on a computer located on the same network as the APC UPS.
Start the Network Management Card Device IP Configuration Utility.
Enter the full IP address range of your network and click on the button to start the search for the UPS.
The system will automatically locate the IP address of your APC UPS.
In our example, the APC UPS IP address detected was 192.168.0.13.
Open a browser software, enter the IP address of your UPS and access the APC web interface.
On the login screen, use the default username and default password.
• Default Username: apc
• Default Password: apc
After a successful login, you will be sent to the APC UPS Dashboard.
Congratulations! You are able to access the APC UPS web interface.
